Sahayata Balamitra (Helping Hand for Children) Charitable Trust is a tax-exempt nonprofit under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to SBC Trust are, therefore, eligible for tax deductions in accordance with IRS code section 170. We are committed to providing healthy drinking water to children and work tirelessly to invest resources and expertise to achieve our cause. Since February 2020, we have been providing water filters to reduce the impact of fluoride, lead, and other heavy metal toxicities in children, conducting comprehensive health camps to understand the scope of heavy metal toxicity from drinking water contamination, educating local populations, advocating health officials and state and national lawmakers/policymakers, and conducting research on heavy metal contamination of fresh waters.
